Isack Kohn

Isack is a 1st generation immigrant originally from Venezuela. He immigrated to Houston through most of his formative years. He graduated from Stratford High School in 1999, where he played football as a defensive tackle and linebacker.

He was accepted to Texas Tech University in 1999 where he earned a Bachelors of Business in Economics and Finance. During his tenure at Texas Tech and shortly after September 11, 2001, he took a hiatus from his studies to enlist in the United States Army Reserves.

Upon graduating from Tech, he was mobilized in support of the war and spent a year serving in the Judge Advocate General Office at Fort Polk Louisiana. While serving in the Army, Isack took the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America and became a proud citizen of our great country.

After his tour of service, he returned to Houston where he joined Derwen Resources, LLC, a small independent energy startup, as a landman. During these early years he worked in projects throughout central and east Texas, more particularly the Haynesville Play.

In 2007 Isack joined Strand Energy, LLC in their land department where he worked in various plays throughout Texas (Permian & Eagle ford), Louisiana and Oklahoma(Mississippian).

In 2011 he joined Plains Exploration and Production company (PXP) Rockies business unit where he worked on various projects in Wyoming (Madden Field), Utah (Uintah Basin), Florida, Illinois and Nevada (Chainman Shale), the Gulf of Mexico and helped in evaluation several international opportunities.

In 2016 Isack began a consulting firm with varied colleagues where he worked several projects throughout Texas, Ohio, and Montana. One such project was aiding Oasis Petroleum integrate their SM Energy acquisition.

In 2017 Isack joined Bellatorum Resources as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating officer helping the startup organization grow and develop the personnel and operational protocols.

In 2019 He started Perthshire with an idea to bring a new idea to the market.

Anthony Casbon


Anthony was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana where he attended Acadiana High School and played point guard for the school basketball team.

He later graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2007 and then immediately began his career as a landman working for Beta Land Services.

Throughout his seven years with Beta Land Services, Anthony was able to work various land related projects including in-house and field due diligence, title and abstracting, leasing, area checks, 3-D seismic shoots, along with many others. During these years, he worked various plays in Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas.

In 2013, Anthony relocated to Texas when he joined the land department at Plains Exploration & Production Company (PXP) where he worked on various projects in Louisiana (Haynesville), the Gulf of Mexico Shelf, Wyoming (Madden Field), and helped to manage the company owned minerals.

In 2016 Anthony joined G2 Land Services as a project manager. During his time at G2, he managed an acquisition due diligence project in Oklahoma City and an in-house acquisition and divestiture due diligence at a client’s office in northwest Houston.

In 2017, he joined his previous management team from PXP as they created Sable Permian Resources with an acquisition of over 65,000 acres in the Permian Basin of west Texas.

Anthony Joined the Perthshire Team in March of 2020.
